I defended my PhD dissertation
In this year March I defended my PhD dissertation and it’s such a pleasure to share finally now I got the doctoral degree. The last 6 years were a really interesting and experience full of period in my life. I made a lots of friendship and broadened my professional networks in Hungary and abroad as well. I got so much support and so much kind that helped to achieve my aims. I would like to say thanks for the Department of Urban Planning and Design, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, that community meaned so much always in my professional lifeway but mainly for Melinda BENKŐ, my supervisor, unique and tireless in her pursuit of our profession, last but not least to my family and friends :). I researched urban forms those are genuine character of the urban environment of Europe, skeptical but trust me, important part of architectural heritage and present cities. But in my point of view experiencing of this route had the biggest impact on me. I truly believe the process of discovering existing forms of the city can teach us how to form the future, whence we came and whither we can go, it will always guide me in my profession. If you, reader has (a lot of) time, feel free to have a look on the output HERE.
